We are pleased to announce a key renewal of our agreement with our partner PG Glass in South Africa. With this new agreement, PG Glass will become our largest franchise partner, attending more than 256k customers in their 110 branches. PG Glass shares our same purpose, «Make a difference with real care»: They have 744 people working with passion every single day, just as in any of our corporate business units.
Also, our Franchise partners GBH® have opened their first branch in Carglass® Mauritius and in Carglass® French Guiana. Our agreement with GBH began in 2020 with the opening of the first branch in La Reunion. The enthusiasm that our La Reunion colleagues have shown during the last SOBC is just an example of how GBH is aligned with Belron® values and business principles. I can confidently say that the Spirit of Belron® is already present in La Reunion, which bodes extremely well for the success for the new branch in Mauritius and in French Guiana.
Our Global Partner Total Energies® and their affiliates in Egypt just signed an agreement with Belron®, with effect 4th of April 2023. Carglass® Egypt will open 2 branches in Cairo during 2023. Their operation model will be the same than in Carglass® Morocco with branches located in their petrol stations delivering high standards of service. With Total Energies® we are exploring different models to extend Carglass® presence in more countries in Africa.
